Jade Belisle

Mission SpaceWalker - University of Alberta

Jade Belisle is a third year undergraduate student in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at the University of Alberta. As the Mechanical Co-Lead of Mission SpaceWalker she has designed and helped manufacture an experiment to test the abilities of electroadhesive robots in microgravity, including the development of electroadhesive pads. Jade, along with Mission SpaceWalker, will be taking part in the Canadian Reduced Gravity Experiment Design Challenge, where the robots will be tested aboard the National Research Council of Canada’s Falcon 20. Passionate about space and aerospace engineering, Jade also participates in the Student Team for Alberta Rocketry Research and has worked for AlbertaSat at the University of Alberta.
