Somnath Panja

Postdoctoral Associate

University of Calgary

I am a Postdoctoral Associate under the supervision of Professor Reyhaneh Safavi-Naini in the Department of Computer Science, at the University of Calgary. I am doing research on Quantum Key Distribution, Information-theoretic security, Blockchain and Cryptography and Security. I completed my PhD degree in Computer Science from Indian Statistical Institute, India, in 2021. Prior to joining the PhD program, I had been working for 6 years and 4 months at Alumnus Software Limited, India. I completed the M.Tech degree from Indian Statistical Institute, India, in 2010, the M.Sc. degree in Mathematics from Indian Institute of Technology Madras in 2008, and the B.Sc. degree in Mathematics from Ramakrishna Mission Residential College, India, in 2006.
